I'm looking forward to a weekend reading my book club book, going for a family hike in the crisp fall woods, and cuddling on the couch while binge watching a bunch of movies. The first day of October also calls for purchasing copious amounts of apples and pumpkins, so I'll head to my favorite local farm for both this weekend. Today is the first official day of fall, and somehow we're finally getting temps in the 90s like we wanted back in August. Therefore, I'm plotting to get us to a local lake for a post-work cool off. We're also headed to the movies on Sunday for Art House Theater Day. Yahoo for cool movies on the big screen! With  weather in the 80s this weekend, I'm planning on soaking up the last days of summer by digging in the garden, having dinner and drinks on the porch, and going on a loooong bike ride with my husband and kids. Weekends just aren't long enough when the weather is this nice.
