Freeform Friday

We've been living our best hygge life in the midst of this swirling, whirling snow storm -- snowshoeing in the woods, movies in front of the fire, and cuddles on the couch. Of course, this is all a lead up to my book club meeting this weekend for a hygge-filled afternoon discussing The Little Book of Hygge. If you haven't read it yet, you must. Especially if you live in a cold climate. It's a total game changer.

I hope you have a cozy weekend, and I hope you enjoy my favorite links from the past week.

Ready for some more trademark pet violence from Wes Anderson? I know I am.

Binge worthy: Mary Beard's Meet the Romans and Ultimate Rome (for free on YouTube!).

Ina's most fabulous moments on Barefoot Contessa.

Quincy Jones doesn't give a fuck. And here's the interview to prove it.

What a fun scavenger hunt approach to museum going.

I could spend days browsing these tiny homes (like this geodesic dome and this shipping container home).

Laser scans reveal Maya "Megalopolis" below Guatemalan jungle.

Thank you, Nancy Pelosi.
